Former Supervisor, Halifax Co. Schools Employee Earl Womack Indicted

Halifax Co., VA - It's been several months since Earl Womack stepped down from his position as Transportation Coordinator with Halifax County Public Schools, but according to a state police investigation, alleged theft and embezzlement may end up coming back to haunt him. Womack is facing one felony count of embezzlement and six felony counts of obtaining money under false pretense in amounts over $200.

A legal notice published in today's News & Record lists several vehicles that were seized in an administrative forfeiture from Kathryn Farley spanning a period from July 23, 2014 to August 4, 2014.

NHVFD Marathon a big hit amid the heat; $43,482 raised
