Saratoga County has received almost $3.4 million to rebuild the Stewarta s Dam Bridge in Hadley, according to Public Works Commissioner Joseph Ritchey.

Voters who are registered with a party go to the polls Tuesday in primary races from Hadley to Hoosick.

Fisherman discovers body of missing sailor in Hudson River

Police divers have resumed searching for a U.S. Navy sailor who disappeared while swimming in the upper Hudson River.

Authorities say a swimmer has disappeared while trying to cross the Hudson River in the southern Adirondacks.

Dive crews are searching an area of the Hudson River near the Rockwell Street Bridge in the town of Hadley, for a person who has gone missing in the water.

Opposition is mounting, along the shores of the Great Sacandaga Lake. The Department of Environmental Conservation says the Lake's shoreline, should be open to the public, and now a proposition by another state agency, to make that happen is pending approval.

A driver fled from police at high speeds Thursday morning and hit a police car before he abandoned the vehicle and tried to evade police on foot, officials said.
