Equity Bank expects more branches in KC area
“It makes a lot of sense that if we're going to be expanding, that we expand in markets that are growing”
Equity Bank plans to expand its operations in Kansas City beyond its merger with Signature Bank KC, Equity's top executive said Thursday.
Brad Elliott, chairman and chief executive, said Equity will add two branches in the Kansas City area in the next two years.
'We'd like to continue growing Kansas City,' Elliott said.
This week, shareholders of Signature Bancshares Inc. approved the merger with Equity Bancshares Inc., the holding company of Equity Bank. The deal was announced last month. Read more
