Investigators release new information about fatal Starke County police chase

it is sad we lost 2 more people to foolish choices. we need to remember, if their is suspect of a serious crime the police should pursue. if they dont want is the signal they are giving to the offenders? oh lets kill someone or lets rob a bank or whatever bacause we can just speed and they cant pursue because someone might get hurt or killed. As sad as it is, and yes, it is sad, the police had every right to chase. this county, like many other rural counties is dealing with a killer. METH. so if the officer had not chased them...and 1-2 weeks later they blew up a house, killed themselves, exposed their children and surrounding neighbors to serious injury or death, that would have been ok? they chose to return to the area. they chose to turn off their lights. they chose to be involved in drugs. they chose the end result. i really feel bad for their families. their families have to pick up where they left off, raise kids, explain why mommy or daddy or both are dead. be reminded every waking moment of the last few minutes before they took their last breath. i will pray for all. hite has to live the rest of his life as the driver...punishment? yes. aparantly the officer wasnt in full high speed pursuit....they had already crashed by the time he even got to the scene. RIP both of you...and pray for the driver...he is going to need it.

yah when he gets out of the hospital , faces the family members and goes to court and then to prison, he will need all the prayers and help needed to be safe from the but pirates, that which he so deserves.
