GROESBECK - Somewhere in heaven, the angels are saying, 'Play it again, Sam.' And, Samuel Spampinato's responding with his favorite song, 'Peg O' My Heart.' Sam the piano man, as he was known to his fans at numerous West Side social clubs and nursing homes, died Thursday.
