Man injured after becoming overwhelmed by fumes in Posey County manure pit
An unidentified man suffered severe injuries after becoming overcome by fumes while working in an ammonia pit at a hog farm near Griffin.

Worker critically hurt in fall into manure pit
A worker at a southwestern Indiana pig operation has been critically injured after falling into a pit filled with hog manure.
Man sustains life-threatening injuries after falling into ammonia pit
Emergency personnel said the man, who worked for Griffin Pig at 12500 Upper Griffin Road, had been in the pit around 40 minutes before another employee noticed and flagged down Wadesville, Ind., firefighter Cane Schmitt.
