North Texas lake project advances, completion expected 2025

A new lake project to add to the North Texas water supply is progressing through the permitting process and is expected to be completed by 2025. Lake Ralph Hall, named for the area's longtime congressman, is being developed along the North Sulphur River in Fannin County, 25 miles north of Greenville, Texas, and 63 miles northeast of Dallas.
