On Tuesday, Dec. 15, at approximately 8:34 p.m., police communications received a "911" call that a man had just been assaulted near the intersection of Route 47, and Bayshore Road.

On Nov. 28, at approximately 11 a.m. , the Middle Township Police Department responded to a report of a one car motor vehicle accident on Route 47 in the Green Creek area of the Township.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, a Sunday, Sept. 6 afternoon fire destroyed the second floor of a home on South 10th Street.

Middle Township Police are investigating several burglaries. Between the evening hours of August 29, 2009 and the early morning hours of August 30, 2009 the Middle Township Police Department responded to three burglaries of businesses.

Middle Township police officers requested the fire department to the Rio Grande Shop Rite for a smell of smoke in the produce department around 7:08 p.m. At 7:14 p.m. police reported they were evacuating the store.

Police have responded to the Whispering Woods Motel, 535 Route 47 South, Green Creek, 204 times in the past two years.

GREEN CREEK a ' Middle Township police, Green Creek and Rio Grande firefighters and rescue units were dispatched at 11:49 a.m. Monday, July 13 to the scene of a three-car motor vehicle accident on Route 47 near Cape 47 Lumber Co.

MILLVILLE _ Francis W. Rosado, 22, of Columbia Avenue was arrested at 8 p.m. Sunday at Broad Street and Columbia Avenue on a harassment charge.

RIO GRANDEa ' Police are investigating a crash here in the parking lot of Menz Restaurant that occurred on Friday, June 12, around 11: p.m. According to police the small pick-up-truck was traveling south on Route 47 when for an unknown it left the roadway entering the restaurant parking lot and striking a piling before flipping over.
