Despite protest from more than 40 residents of Lewistown Borough and Derry and Granville townships, the Lewistown Borough Council opted to adopt a controversial ordinance during its meeting on Monday evening.
An early morning accident claimed the life of a Lewistown man today, according to the Mifflin County Coroner's office.
Earl B. "Buck" Fink Sr., 90, of Granville, died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, at the Malta Home.
Mrs. William K. Barr, 94 years, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at the Malta Home.
