City Manager, Mayor involved in car crash
Yesterday afternoon about 4:15 p.m., Historic City News learned that City Manager John P. Regan and St Augustine Mayor, Joseph L. Boles, Jr., were involved in a collision on Anastasia Boulevard at the four-way intersection with Arredondo Avenue.

Motorcyclist dies, woman critical in Putnam County wreck
The Florida Highway Patrol identified the driver in the 6:30 p.m. wreck as Elbert Peace, 64, of Starke, and his passenger as Christine Ann Peace, 55. A police report did not say how the Peaces were related.
