After excessive demand shut it down earlier this month, the North Central Texas Council of Governments is reopening registration for its program to help residents install a tornado safe room in their homes.

Lawmakers in Washington D.C. and Austin were shocked and disappointed by FEMA's denial of emergency funds for West.

In the past few weeks of school, students at Fossil Ridge High School raised more than $3,000 for Red Cross tornado relief as they encouraged each other to "Give Thanks, not Pranks."

Summer has arrived! Yesterday was the first recorded temperature of 100 degrees in the Metroplex.

Yesterday high temps managed to make it to 100 degrees in Dallas and Granbury while the mercury peaked in the middle and upper 90s for the Metroplex.
