one little guy

To the authorities who were on duty, THANK YOU! It is apparent that you kept what could have been a mass panic situation, into a wait in line your flight is going to be a little later situation. Who hasen't experienced flight delays.
Now the question is "What the heck is/was wrong with the guy?" Is he going to be charged with and expected to pay for all the man hours involved? Is he going to be charged for the expence of the flight delays? How will he compensate for all the travelers time and money that he impacted?
Is there a law or laws that will compensate the people involved with this type of action?

Another thing to think about is...It's a test. This guy goes in and his buddies are sitting back watching the response to see if they can find any holes to exploit for when its real.

Los Angeles is a Joke
|
The City of Los Angeles has no plans for a terrorist and the response to LAX shows just how unorganized the LAPD and other public safety departments are. The LAPD, paying lip service to other cities, forgot again to notify the City of El Segundo of the event, which became known by the huge traffic jam when you throw tens of thousands of people into the street. The LAPD blew this event by allowing large groups of people to congregate at the Bradley Terminal entrance, making them a prime target for terrorists (secondary devices), which is classic anti-terrorism strategy. Bill Rosendahl, Hahn, and other Council morons just don't get it. You can't leave tens of thousands of people stranded and left to care for themselves when these incidents occur. The City of Los Angeles, LAWA, and other stakeholders have both an ethical and moral responsibility to provide shuttles and get these people out of the immediate area. Leaving them to act on their own without guidance and support is negligence. If someone gets hit by a car walking down Century or Sepulveda because of the gridlock, the city bears the brunt of responsibility for their well being. If LAPD and LAFD, and LAX PD, and LAWA had real plans and cared about the community, they would implement real plans and take responsibility instead of ljust leaving everyone at the airport hung out to dry. The city is a joke, and if a real event were to happen, based on what I saw, there would be a huge body pile because the city doesn'f follow standard anti-terrorism response procedures. For a city that thinks it is the best, it just proved that what morons they really are.

To Los Angeles is a Joke You must have been or get in trouble with the law to talk smack. If Los Angeles is such a joke, why don't u just leave and move away instead of complaining or better yet work for LADP or LAFD or LAX PD and see how it is. They risk their lives everyday for YOU and everyone else. Next time YOU need help and they are there for YOU lets see if YOU talk smack than. All agencies have ways they have to respond it's the government that sucks they are in charge of it all.

LAX is the worst airport I have ever been too. When you look at what the cities of Pittsburg, Cincinnati or Atlanta just to mention a few have done with their airports and you look at LAX you have to laugh. Just look at how the state of California is being run and you understand.

You can bet that if any of the city's politicians were at the airport, they would have been driven out first class, so I guess the regular citizen is just road kill, being left to fend for themselves and walking miles on foot. Just because you wear a badge doesn't make you a hero. Los Angeles is notorious for having some of the most corrupt public safety departments (police and fire) in the United States. An LAFD Assistant Chief in San Pedro covered up his son's crime, lied to police officers (obstruction of justice) and recently three LAPD officers were placed on leave for corruption and lying under oath in court for a case where they tried to frame an innocent man. I talk smack because Los Angeles has a Mayor that is a adulterer, raises taxes without blinking, and frankly is a s.c.u.m.b.a.g.- I live in the South Bay and fly out of the airport. What I witnessed yesterday was sobering. The police and fire departments give lip service to many agencies, and when the incident occurs, they make up their events as they go along and the playbookmis thrown out. Again, leaving people clumped in large groups is well known as creating a threat and large targets. LA is a joke, an 800-pound gorilla and I wouldn't trust any of these folks, except we know they take care of their own, don't they? Most arrogant city on the planet!

Every big city has corruption, it is just not Los Angeles. Things don't always go as they are planned in drills and training. They should have made improvements at the Airport years ago, now, I think it might be to late.

The nice part about living in the South Bay cities is that I do not have to live in Los Angeles with its corrupt services (DWP), politicians, and general whackos. Y'know Villaraigosa wants to be Governor, but he can't even balance his own city budget, he can't pick up the trash in his neighborhoods, and he has to hijack and rob the city residents with never-ending taxes, and besides throwing his own family under the bus for some media tramp, he still can't control the corruption in his police and fire departments. I read everyday about some cop or firefighter in LA who robs, steals, cheats, commits fraud, or covers up crime to save their colleagues butts. Yeah, I love that I don't have to live in LA, and that we have excellent public safety services, thank god not from the City of LA. It sucks. The police did a great job of leaving people stranded at the airport and making them targets for terrorists by lining them up into big groups of secondary targets, yeah - that is great police work! People won't be laughing when people get hurt because of the LAPD's ignorance and arrogance, and this was just a prank. LA talks too much, unfortunately it can't walk the talk or the smack it puts out.
