Prescription drug discount program .....
During the first eight weeks since the introduction of the Cattaraugus County free prescription drug discount program, county residents filled 110 prescriptions with the cards at discounts averaging 32 percent and $19 for each prescription, Cherianne Wold announced this week.

Sectional Cross Country Meet On Tap.....
The Section 6 cross country championships will be held today at Elma Meadows. The boys races open the competition, starting with Class D at 10:30 a.m. Class AA is at 11 a.m., Class A at 11:30 a.m., Class B at noon and Class C at 12:30 p.m. The girls races kick off at 1 p.m. for Class D schools.
