A handy man: After 70 years of fix-it, a retired carpenter, contractor puts it in a book

Retired carpenter and painting contractor Frank Gilliam and his wife, Edwina, both 84, get their mail and newspaper through the "back doors" of their mailbox in Columbus Wednesday. The double-door safety feature that keeps homeowners from having to step into the street to access mail was one Frank was building into mailboxes more than 20 years ago.
