Volunteer oyster gardeners wanted to help build Chesapeake Bay sanctuary reefs | Gardening

More than 300 volunteers actively grow oysters in Virginia about 230 in Hampton Roads and 100 on the Peninsula and in Gloucester County to help the Chesapeake Bay Foundation establish sanctuary reefs along local waterways, according to Chuck Epes, spokesman for the foundation.
