Roseburg report stopping driver speeding at more than 100 mph, find marijuana
A Glide man was cited on suspicion of driving more than 100 mph in a 55 mph zone on Highway 138 near Melba Street in a 2007 Ford Focus around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Roseburg police said today.

School cancelled today in Glide
The outage was the result of thunderstorms that hammered Southern Oregon yesterday from about 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The decision to shut Glide's three schools was made at 7:50 a.m. today, after Pacific Power pushed its estimated time from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., said Superintendent Steve Dickinson.
