The Glidden, Wis. campus of the Chequamegon School District went on lockdown Monday after custodians heard what they believed to be gunshots.

Reminder: The annual town Christmas party is this evening, beginning with the tree-lighting and caroling in Lakeside Park at 5:45 p.m. followed by dinner in the town hall at 6 p.m. Santa Claus will make an appearance and door prizes will be given away.

A public informational meeting will be held beginning at 6 p.m. Monday at the Sevastopol Town Hall to review the Dunes Lake Watershed project.
