Geis Cos. of Streetsboro and Weston Inc. of Warrensville Heights are wooing the Superior Beverage Cleveland unit of Superior Beverage Group of Youngstown for a 500,000-square-foot warehouse and office building at Diamond Business Park in Glenwillow Village.

Construction of a proposed warehouse in the Cleveland area would not affect local operations at Superior Beverage, a company spokesman said.

A major beer and wine distributor is eyeing a site in Glenwillow for a warehouse that could employ nearly 550 people within the next few years.

The Diamond Business Center industrial park in Glenwillow has snagged its first tenant -- MAT Holdings Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of brake components, power equipment, building supplies and home and garden tools.
