Constitution Party Woos Conservatives Hurt by GOP

The Constitution Party , the fastest- growing third party, is poised to pick up the pieces of the broken Grand Old Party as more Americans consider the option of an alternative choice.

The Dewitt School Board voted Tuesday night to close Humphrey Elementary and Gillett 6th through 12th grade.

Citizens of the first District of Arkansas met on Saturday, March 28 to join forces to fight for the restoration of the United States Constitution, which is under greater attack at this time than at any time in its History.

In recent months, several states across this nation have 'declared their sovereignty.' It appears that as our federal government continues down the path of destruction, folks are beginning to wake up to the reality that we don't have long as a 'republic' and a 'free nation.' MONTREAL, March 31 /CNW Telbec/ - Gillett Entertainment Group presents the 4th edition of the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival that will take place in the park on August 1st and 2nd.

March the 14th marked a historic event in Arkansas. The Constitution Party of Arkansas met in Paragould to organize the 1st District. The meeting was a total success with Twenty Three people attending the meeting.

The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge to the Flag of the United States. Tom Mayfield, a Constitution Party State officer opened the meeting by welcoming everyone, going around the room for introductions and giving everyone a chance to speak comments. Many of the people attending expressed their concerns about many of the Un Constitutional things going on. After the introductions Tom Mayfield spoke on the Constitution and current event matters, including plans for the CPA to focus on local and state offices. Tom Mayfield was followed by State Chairman Eldon Wright. Eldon spoke about responsibilities and where we are today and where we are headed.

The meeting then had a lengthy period of question and answers followed by suggestions from those attending that another meeting be held in two weeks to elect officers for the 1st District.

Fourteen people attending the meeting joined the state party.

Also attending the meeting was two representatives from the American Family Association.

Will this be the Only State that takes advantage of its addicts to raise money to treat illegal immigrants? The answer is no. Many States and even the Federal government prey upon those who are decidedly addicts to make money for a beauracracy that in itself is becoming more Socialistic by the day. Us smokers have ben singled out to pay for others. This could never be a legal tax, rather it is a penalty imposed on addicts who cannot stop. Wait, can't stop. This is what the Government is counting on. You will pay whatever it takes to get a cigarette. right.

This coming year as our legislature meets, there will be new faces. All elected by the people to represent them. All with the needs of their constituents their primary responsibility. It is not special interests, or expense accounts or what revenue they can gather for either themselves or the States coffers. They have one purpose. The peoples right to life liberty and the pusuit of happiness. As with the rest of the country, we in arkansas are staring at and are fearing the loss of our jobs, our livelyhood, our being able to pay a mortgage. Stress comes heavily to a family that isn't sure that his plant or job will be there. Many take great concessions such as VOLUNTARY layoffs in the hopes their factory or plant can be there to recall them to work. As Stated before it is our legislatures job to put the people first.
