Nine months ago, the mantra here was "Bring Bolivar Back." Now, even as recovery continues from Hurricane Ike's ravages, residents of the county's peninsula are bragging, "Bolivar is Back." Some would argue that the peninsula never went away but has been conveniently forgotten or overlooked by government officials and the media.
