Auxiliary awards scholarships

The Van Diest Medical Center Auxiliary recently awarded three $1,000 scholarships to students interested in pursuing a career in the area of healthcare. Scholarship winners include: Marisa Garrels, a 2018 graduate of Webster City High School, pursuing a degree in Nursing at Iowa Central Community College; Kay Greif, a 2018 graduate of South Hamilton High School, attending Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, to become a Medical Assistant; and Mikala Harrill, a 2015 graduate of Webster City High School who is also pursuing a degree in Nursing from Iowa Central Community College.
