Agreement Made To Reduce Gridlock On I-70

“But there is still a lot of legal process it needs to go through.”

There was a surprise agreement on reducing gridlock on Interstate 70 Friday. It's the first significant step toward a solution in a decade. The Colorado Department of Transportation and communities from Golden to Glenwood springs all agreed on the plan.

Rockfall season begins as snowpack thaws

“Most of the time, the rockfalls are small and accidents usually occur when a vehicle hits a rock already in the road. Motorists can help prevent these kinds of accidents by paying attention to rockfall warning signs and by staying alert.”

Spring is here and with that comes warm temperatures during the day and cold temperatures at night, creating the freeze-thaw effect and increasing the potential for rockfalls. via The Summit County Journal
