Kane County's former chief jailer, facing trial on a DUI charge, was fired Monday after a disciplinary panel found that he did not tell his superiors the complete truth about his 2007 arrest. via Chicago Tribune

How sad the MADD witches continue to push for and get cruel and unusual punishment as VENGEANCE for their loved one's death. This is cruel and unusual punishment because it's a crime with no victim - unless you count the guy who loses his job and carries a life sentence around with him.

I didn't see any mention of MADD or AAIM in the article. I fail to see your point. The guy was fired for lying to his employers. This person who promised to protect and serve should have been setting an example instead of trying to be above the law. He got what he earned by making indefensible choices. |

You seem to be pretty upset by some groups who want to save lives. Yes, it does take money to save lives and if those found guilty have to pay; then so be it. Your poor choice of words--"witches"-- will not further your mis-guided position. I checked out the sites provided and saw zero evidence of truth. I read only the same hate filled rhetoric that you bring to the discussion. |

It seems there is a lot of anger in the person calling himself MADD. Perhaps it is justified, if he was abused by the legal system, which can get out of hand at times. Perhaps he's just angry, but the name calling and nastiness between bloggers here is counterproductive.
I have checked out some of the sites that he/she recommends and find them to be informative and rarely hate-filled. They bring up are many reasons to question the organization MADD's agenda and tactics. Questioning their statistics and motivation can be done in a civil way that might actually educate, rather than alienate. |
