Michigan State Police say a 16-year-old from Swartz Creek is dead following a one car crash Friday afternoon.

Police say they have identified a group of people they believe may be responsible for a string of break-ins and car larcenies in western Genesee County.

The entire township police department is in the patrol car on this morning, rolling down the long roads that crisscross the countryside.

A judge gave a Shiawassee County woman a victory Thursday, saying a jury can hear she was a battered woman and under duress when she took part in the killing of a 70-year-old veteran.
