Nineteen arrested in Itawamba drug sting
Nineteen people were recently arrested and charged as part of a countywide roundup of suspects indicted through the Itawamba County Jury.
Grand jury to review evidence in officer's death
John Collum was not impaired on the night of the incident. Charles "Cody" Weaver was charged with negligent homicide after his car struck and killed Collum about 10 p.m. on May 9. Sheriff Chris Dickinson says Collum was helping deputies investigate a report of a prowler on John Rankin Highway north of Fulton when he was hit by the car.
