2 Santa Rosa Schools Locked Down After Stabbing
Santa Rosa police are investigating a stabbing that caused two schools to be locked down Thursday afternoon.
Sgt. Lisa Banayat said a passerby called police at 12:37 p.m. to report a male was stabbed and bleeding in an open area of Youth Community Park at 1701 Fulton Road.
Police located the victim, who was suffering from a stab wound in the abdomen. He was taken to a local hospital and his injuries are not considered life-threatening, Banayat said.
