Continued dry conditions have caused the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation to reduce the allocation of water to east San Joaquin Valley farmers from 50% to 45%. The adjustment was announced Tuesday and affects high priority water use for about 15,000 farmers in the Friant Water Authority.
