Newark man recovering from shooting; Fremont still investigating separate incident

A 19-year-old Newark man remained hospitalized Monday after being shot in the head Saturday night during an apparent gang-related incident on Mulberry Street in Newark, while another man also was recovering Monday after being shot six times in a separate incident in Fremont hours later.
