Sheriff's deputies, along with police from Fox Point and River Hills, were called to northbound I-43 near Brown Deer Road at 12:20 p.m. Clarke said the van and another vehicle were firing shots at each other in a "running gun battle" on the highway.

Mary Nohl house discussed at art preservation forum
Many in the North Shore were caught by surprise when the John Michael Kohler Arts Center announced in late March that it would move the environment of the late Fox Point artist Mary Nohl from its origins on Beach Drive to a location in Sheboygan.
