One of last defendants sentenced

The last of three men caught in the Harris County 'To Catch a Predator' sting who wanted a trial was sentenced Wednesday to seven years in prison.
The hearing for Robert Gerald White, 33, came more than a month after his conviction by a Dalton, Ga., jury on charges of attempted child molestation and attempted statutory rape. He sat quietly as Harris County Superior Court Judge Frank Jordan Jr. announced the seven-year prison sentence, followed by 13 years on probation -- a contrast from the shouting and loud noises coming from White as he waited in a holding cell.
