Spend time cruising around lighthouses of Delaware Bay
Interested in lighthouses? Did you realize there are lighthouses out in the Delaware Bay that can only be reached by boat? Spend time cruising around these lights, actually seeing them at work, touching the caisson, and learning their history? Lighthouse cruises of the Delaware Bay will take place on Saturday nights July 8 and Aug. 19. The five-hour Saturday Night Moonlight Cruise's destination will be south in the Bay to Harbor of Refuge leaving the dock at 4 p.m. The four-hour Aug. 19 cruise will go north in the Bay to Ship John Shoal, it also leaves the dock at 4 p.m. Cruises are narrated by former lighthouse keepers and retired Coast Guard personnel.
