Police Blotter: Arrests; Fire destroys trailer at Ft. Washakie; Downed aircraft signal was unfounded

Fort Washakie and Lander Rural firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire northwest of Fort Washakie at 7:07 p.m. A fire burned through a trailer that was being used for storage, Lander Rural Chief Dave Peevey said at the scene.

A natural gas line leak has forced some evacuations at ...

County10.com's Joshua Scheer who is on scene reports that the gas line leak occurred when a person drilling a fence post hole went too deep and drilled into a natural gas line, according to Kenneth Ferris, a captain of the Fort Washakie Fire Battalion.
