Why can't these people get a life, I did not see them saying anything when this man was saving the Town thousands of dollars. They should look at the sewer budget closer and they will see who cost the Town money. Lot's of money....... Leave this man alone. He is a good honest man..

This thing was mishandled, period. I hate to play the devil's advocate, but this individual's complaint is quite legit. The mayor appears to listen to one councilmember in particular. Recuse or not, this was still blatant nepotism and the position still should have been advertised- it was the mayor and council's responsibility to do so. In this economy, it may have been surprising how "cheap" a well-qualified candidate could have been. Of course, I lay the blame on the citizens of Fort Lawn.
