Three suspects in I-95 chase tied to other robbery

“They fled and eluded and they resisted arrest. Look at all the lives they put in jeopardy, including their own.”

Authorities on Sunday said three men suspected in a Boynton Beach robbery of a Burger King are also connected to at least one recent robbery of a fast-food restaurant in Broward County .

The Broward Sheriff's Office also released the names of the men they said robbed the Burger King Friday night, fled to Deerfield Beach in a high-speed chase and shot at several officers before they were arrested.

Christopher Ladarious Hicks, 18; Robert Louis Jackson Jr., 19; and Reginald Demetris Robinson Jr., 20, all of Pompano Beach, face charges of attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault with a firearm, fleeing and eluding and resisting arrest, according to a Broward Sheriff's Office news release. Hicks and Robinson also will be charged with tampering with evidence. Read more

I live in Deerfield Bch and I gotta tell you I am scared to death to walk outside of my home. I had to ick someone up on Friday night and imediatly saw the chopper over my development and on my way to Fed Hwy saw the dragnet and for the life of me couldn't imagine what was going on. They hit the McDonalds by me too on Thurs. I hope the guilty get the maxc because innocent people are suffering for the people that want the easy way out. I pray for their families.

I live in Fort Lauderdale and when I heard about that burger King robbery, it was not so much of a shock but more like "ah boy, not another robbery". Well, I know one of those suspects and it was heart breaking when I found out that he was involved. It's not worth risking your life, your families, or other people's life because criminals want to be careless and uncivilized about what they think is a game. Someday I reaaly hope these criminals learn a lesson that what they're doing is not good. Life is hard but it's also what u make it and people work too hard for what they accomplishe for someone to take it away from them. May GOD be with them and they're families.
