Report: Combat troop discharges increase sharply
The number of soldiers discharged from the Army for misconduct has risen to its highest rate in recent times, and some are wounded combat troops who have lost their medical care and other veterans benefits because of other-than-honorable discharges, according to an investigation by the Colorado Springs Gazette.

Hummer Overturned At Fort Carson
Many of you have been calling about an overturned Humvee at Fort Carson. The crash is visible from I-25. We found out this afternoon that two soldiers assigned as mechanics to the 759th Military Police Battalion rolled a vehicle over on Fort Carson around 3:30 p.m. today, Monday, May 13.

The soldiers are assigned as mechanics to 759th Military Police Battalion. One of the soldiers was treated and released, and the other soldier is in fair condition at Evans Army Community Hospital.
