I cannot recall a single incident where a corn farmer has been killed over his crop ..... get real!
Corn has been a huge problem in Mexico, they are tearing out their agave plants (tequila) to plant corn for the use of fuel. There have been huge shortages of corn for their food supply for several years and has at times caused violence. Give any crop and inflated value and people will try to take their share, by force if necessary. I don't know that any corn farmers have been killed for their crop, but it is not necessarily going to be that way as we begin to run out of oil and corn becomes a hot commodity necessary to run the machines that are our way of life. Should we outlaw corn now? Will that help stem the violence over corn that will be our future? Your statement is not really as far fetched as you hoped it would be, educate yourself before opening your sphincter.
