The search for a missing Minto, North Dakota man resumed for a short time today, before the Sheriff shut it down.

Some dikes could come down as early as next week GRAFTON - Rivers in Walsh County that were at major flood stage just over a week ago are now back in their banks.

Floodwaters rush to Walsh County GRAFTON - The long-awaited flood that has been predicted for the last several weeks finally arrived Monday much to the chagrin of several residents of Walsh County.

The search continued today for a man, who is believed to have drowned near Minto.

Flooding is causing headaches in some small towns and rural areas in northern North Dakota, though no major damage or injuries have been reported.

The Park and Forest Rivers are expected to crest in Grafton and Minto by Tuesday morning, 35-miles northwest of Grand Forks.

The Red River is on the move in the northern valley. It's now on the rise from Grand Forks to the Canadian border at Pembina.
