Columbia police have arrested a second suspect wanted in connection with several armed robberies in the city, Forest Acres and Richland County.

Columbia police are thanking a CrimeStoppers tipster following the arrest of a 16-year-old man they say was wanted for multiple armed robberies.

John Walkup has lived in Forest Acres for 29 years. Crime is not something he's seen very often in that time.

There have been 10 home burglaries in the last month - all in Forest Acres - and police say there's no stopping the thieves without your help, unless you're home when they come barging in.
