W. Pa. man killed in crash, highway shut down
A western Pennsylvania man was killed in a two-vehicle crash that shut down a major highway for more than six hours.
1 Killed In Kittanning Head-On Crash
According to the Armstrong County Coroner's Office, the accident happened on State Route 422 near Cornish Road around 1:47 a.m. Terry McClafferty, 37, of Ford City, was traveling west on State Route 422 when his 2006 Dodge pickup truck was hit head-on by a 1999 Ford F 350.
Fatal crash closes Pa. highway for six hours
State police say the accident occurred at 1:36 a.m. Sunday in Kittanning. That's about 40 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
Paul was a manager of Sunoco, Pittsburgh, and had formerly managed G.C. Murphy Co., Kittanning, and several Rite Aid and PharMor locations.
