"He had been previously convicted and deported, and was not supposed to be in the country"

Wow... another life that could have been saved by protecting our borders, even if it happened to be a victim this time instead of the other way around like it usually is.

So Mr DA why don't you say what he was convicted for and while your at it try admitting the fact that the Butte County Task force was also looking for him and gosh what doe the task force do? Make you move old junk, nooooo, drugs...RIGHT? And since lopez is not supposed to be here why is he receiving medical care here anyway. Load him up and send him home and let Mexico take care of him. I, for one am so disgusted with this. The typical help the criminal now the "victim" what a joke.

Joe, the mountain people's vigilante enforcer, still languishing in the Butte County Jail !!!

Why haven't these people "from the mountains" bailed him out yet?

The beloved Joe certainly does not need enemies when he has friends like them.

I'm sure law enforcement has egg on their face and much explaining to do concerning "Rico". Nevertheless, three lives will never be the same as before - imprisonment, disfigurement, paralysis, etc. This is do know, all the bashing in the world changes nothing. These three 'men' need true prayer. Only the Lord Jesus can change their hearts that they will come to know Him as Savior and experience true peace within. Sinners are God's specialty and His love for each of them is not dependent on their actions. Make a difference in our community and join my prayers for their salvation.

I guess God did not hear your prayers as Rico was out dealing and terrorizing the community. Make a true difference by not engaging in the type of heroism as this Joe did in beating a man half to death. In my opinion, the only thing that can maybe save this true hero of yours is going to be a huge donation by the peckers out in the hills.
