Morris County election officials are looking for individuals to work at the polls for this year's general election Tuesday, Nov. 4. In particular, poll workers are needed in Madison, Chatham Township, Chatham Borough, Florham Park, Mendham Township, Mendham Borough and Long Hill. Any Morris County resident who is a registered voter and who is able to read and write English may apply to become a poll worker.

Morris Needs Poll Workers for November Election

Election officials are seeking county residents to help work the polls during this year's General Election to be held November 4. Poll workers receive $200 for the day and are required to be registered voters and have the ability read, write, and speak English. Those who sign on to be a poll worker are required to complete a two-hour mandatory training class, which will be held in October.

Man arrested in string of Parsippany burglaries

PARSIPPANY - Police say they've caught a man suspected in several burglaries in Parsippany as well as other communities throughout the area. Keith Massey, 52, of Orange, has been charged in connection with four burglaries and five attempted burglaries at nine Parsippany businesses, police said.
