4 arrested after toddlers found in street

This is a sad sad story. I pray God will take care of everyone involved. Thank God all of the children are ok and I really hope the parents change their priority's - even though it is too late to keep their kids. People that make those types of choices/decisions don't have their children's best interest in mind and need prayer.

at the time i think not, but as of NOW I BET THEY DO,, and i hope from now on they make BETTER CHOICES IN WHATS TAKEING PLACE AROUND THEM AND THERE CHILDERN ,, thell prob think twice now before they even drink agian,,i hope,,,this is something that thell never forget, i bet they have never been in truoble before,these couples are young and have alot to learn,,, this is just a bad way to learn-but i bet they have thought about what happen and how careless they were... a thousand times over,,,

I bet they don't learn a thing from this- come on the didn't even HAVE a refrigerator !!! I hope they never get their children back, they do not deserve them.

well I guess they shouldn't have continued to be reproducing either. people like this never learn. that is their problem.

You know for a fact they did not have a refrigerator? People are often quick to judge, and often noone is there to help. Maybe they needed a parenting class. I am NOT upholding them in any way for what happened. Perhaps they are really young and have learned the hard way.I mean, we don't know what kind of raising/life they had when they were little either..it could be all they know. It was very dangerous because one of their children could have been hurt very bad or even worse! I hate to even think about it but I am sure (like was said above) that they think about it a lot now. AND they may never get their kids back! It is a harsh thing to say someone doesn't deserve their kid later on though, because people can change. That is why I pray for the entire situation. Instead of talking about the parents (who are locked in jail) be thankful the children are all safe now.

Thank goodness the driver of the car stopped and called the authorities or who knows what might have happened to those children.

you all dint know the real story behind this yes they was in the wronge by not being out of the bed, but there is no prof of drinking in this the cops took no blood from one of the girl that i know. until you know the hole story you have no right to talk, it happens to ppl every day that dont get cot. and for all you ppl.. they have not lived there vary long.. and for all you that say they dont work you thank you vary i worked with one of them myself. and yes there was a box of food in there, they just make thing look the wrost than what they.. so get the story RIGHT

Wow I smell a lot of Hypocrites in this thread. Maybe you guys were/are perfect parents. I dont know the people involved, but I know that what they need is prayer. Not everyone on here always bashin someone else because of their mistakes!

I know what I read in the paper....which does not always (usually) paint a completely accurate picture .
I am also very happy the children were found and removed from that situation. The 4 arrested may not have been raised any other way and therefore that is all they were taught - BUT if you were raised that way would you honestly do the same thing to your own child or use the brain you were given and do better for your child ???

Could you tell us the story so we will know? Cause just because there WASNT blood drawn isnt proof either. It didn't look very good on them...but I do agree that people will do anything to get a story even try to make SOME things look worse than they really are.
However, out of 4 adults, one of them should have been awake or sober - whichever the case.

Thats because they are not required to get blood. If they were still in bed, thats even worse. Your saying that they left their kid in the car seat all night. Crappy situation, I hope the kids are placed with someone that will take good care of them.

Drinking, not drinking, drugs, no drugs. Doesn't matter. Kids in the street = child endangerment. No food = neglect. No refrigerator means no milk. Human and animal excrement on the floor? You don't need blood to determine these children are neglected. Get the kids out of there, so they'll have a chance at a decent life. Sounds like the adults could also use shelter, a good meal and decent living conditions. Jail will provide that for them.

do you have children, were you the perfect parent DID YOU HAVE YOUR EYES ON YOUR CHILD EVERY SECOND OF THE DAY AND NIGHT ,PROB NOT, if you say you did your not telling the truth,every one of us has had something to happen to are child sometime or another that might not have needed to happen if we would had did a better job of looking after them huh??------ WERE NOT THE PARENTS WE SHOULD BE- ARE WE .. we can only learn from are mistakes i know myself its hard to raise CHILDERN.

The Bentons have always been nasty. I remember them from school and they stunk. It's a shame they didn't straighten up for those kids

Regardless of parenting skills, trying or not......the fact that a 2 and 3 year old got out of the house, a house no more than 10 or 20 yards from a road, playing in or around the road is bad enough without supervision or the conscious knowledge or care that they were out of their house. How long they had been playing outside, which is also basically the road....who knows, because the PARENTS/GUARDIANS of those 2 very young children didn't. Nobody knows, and nobody would have known had it not been for an honest citizen who cares for another human life....another human life obviously to young to discriminate from whats right or wrong, dangerous or not, and the safety of a yard or dangers of a road. The fact is nobody knows how long those kids had been outside, from my experience children that young.....they don't sleep very well past 8 or 9. Fleming Co. law enforcement were not informed of the situation until around 11:00 a.m. The fact is, and it is a fact, NOBODY knows how long those children were outside nor do they know how much longer they WOULD have been outside had somebody not called and reported the situation. Also another fact is that a 7 month old infant.........,and the start of the sentence should say enough, was strapped inside a carseat soiled, wailing, needing its parental guidance but yet not a single "parent/guardian" answers to its cries. That is until police come in, whether thats rousing an adult by knocking on the door or going in and physically waking them up.....who knows. The main point of my post is WHO KNOWS, other than the fact that the adults/parents/guardians/drunk s were to busy having fun the night before or hell maybe even that day to give 2 shits less, or even realize/care, what their tiny children were doing. And that right there, looking at and assessing the situation is enough for a charge against the parents, Let alone the fact there was very very limited food in the house, no fridge, feces of whatever kind, and NO care, parental supervision, or precautions to prevent a situation like what happened from occuring..........and i rest my case. I'm sorry i'm not trying to be a prick, and i don't mean to be one, but whats obvious and what happened did and is there and forever will be.

I feel very very sorry for these children, but as for the white trash sobs they ought to be hung! its ashamed children should have to live and go through crap like this
