A scam that officials say could be targeting the elderly is surfacing in Jackson County.

In a joint effort with DeKalb County drug agents, Investigator Craig Holcomb of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office seized one of the largest meth labs in county history Saturday in Flat Rock.

Police arrested a Flat Rock mother and father Wednesday for allegedly selling marijuana.

Tribute was paid to 139 veterans buried in Woodville Union Cemetery on Saturday in conjunction with Memorial Day.
