Orleans to secure final critical easements for water line

The town of Orleans will soon have the final four easements it needs to build a water line along Route 12 and provide municipal water to hundreds of residents. State Supreme Court Judge James P. McClusky ruled Thursday in favor of the town claiming the right to build its water main on four parcels on Route 12, Fishers Landing and Collins Landing, despite landowners' reluctance.
