New $8.5M park opening in Fife

The city of Fife is celebrating completion of Brookville Gardens Park at 6512 Valley Ave. E. with a ceremony today at 9:30 a.m. The park officially opens to the public Friday with a celebration from 5-7 p.m. The 15-acre park has trails, rain gardens, open grassy space, native plants, rehabilitated wetlands, a walking bridge, play structures, picnic shelters, interpretive signage and views of Wapato Creek.
