1 dead after car crash in Suffolk County, LI police chase
A husband and father of three is dead after a driver being chased by police crashed into his car on Long Island.
Suffolk County investigators say the crash in Farmingville began after a police officer tried to arrest 48-year-old John Licausi on suspicion of stealing landscaping equipment. Licausi fled in his car.
Police say the Riverhead man drove through a red light at Old Medford Road, striking two vehicles.
The driver of one of those cars, 46-year-old Scott Foster of Manorville, was killed. Read more
