The US Marshals Office is responsible for prisoner transports, prisoner management, service of court paperwork, warrant services, and a few other things. The FBI or DOJ investigates other law enforcement agencies. If there were warrants issued for FPD personal the Marshals Office may serve them; but they don’t conduct investigations like that.
