1 I also feel Bob will continue to be a great assistant chief. I guess it really depends on who Carruth thinks will be the easiest to do budget with. I like them both. I've known both of them, all my teen and adult life. Both are fine examples of law enforcement leadership. Both are good folks. |

Ted is really good but why has he moved around so much? Bob made a HUGH mistake when he told them he only wanted the job for a few yrs. and then retire. I think Ted will get the job and he will do well in it.

I asked Ted that question a few years ago. HE said there were family ties and health needs for some elderly family members that brought him home. I think Bob's candor, in his statement, only solidifies his stature as a stand up kind of guy. No, he didn't have to tell them that, but that was on his mind and he spoke the truth. Ted is approximately the same age (+) so I am sure he feels the same about TMRS. I say good luck to either of them. Paris PD will be good with either choice. |

Yep, you're right about not being able to make a bad choice. It will be interesting, though, to see who he chooses and the statement he gives supporting his reasoning behind the choice. |
