Danielle Bishop fiddlin' away her youth
Danielle Bishop is celebrating milestones. The 18-year-old fiddle player releases her new CD "The Mix" this Thursday, and on May 31, she'll get her home school high school diploma and two-year college degree.

<![CDATA[Turpin ~ McClave Dr. and Mrs. James Wesley Turpin of Fairview, N.C., are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rabbani Hope Turpin, to Scott Alexander McClave, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Patrick McClave of Charlotte, N.C. Hope graduated from A.C. Reynolds High School and received a B.A. in Biology & Sociology from Salem College. She is currently pursuing a Registered Nurse degree from Mercy School of Nursing in Charlotte. Scott is a Myers Park High School graduate. He is presently employed as a landscaping specialist for Chase Grounds Management. A December 14th 2013 wedding in Charlotte is planned.

They were married in Winston-Salem, NC, on April 25, 1958. Pat was born in Bethania, NC; Ralph is a native of Fairview.
