Former rail line near being removed
By James Neal, Enid News & Eagle, Okla. Oct. 10--FAIRMONT, Okla. -- A stretch of the region's railroad infrastructure once owned by Oklahoma Department of Transportation is being scrapped by a private company.

Zion Lutheran Church Sunday service to begin at
Sunday service for Zion Lutheran Church in Fairmont will be held at the regularly scheduled time of 10:30 a.m. but in the church's education wing.
Several Enid-area post offices are under review by the U.S. Postal Service and may be closed as a cost-cutting measure.
